So a second year and a couple of third years at my school are getting professional work. One of them, David, came in yesterday to speak to my class... It was pretty cool.

I mean, he's working with Ty Templeton to revive old Canadian comic heroes from World War Two, it's not Batman or anything, but it was still decent. And really interesting to listen to. I want to pick his brains.



In other news, if people are going to post spoilers I am politely requesting that they be labelled as such, soy causes loss of virility in men, Cartman singing "Poker Face" made my life, and people really gotta stop whining about things they brought on themselves.

Midterms are upon me, but instead of writing exams like you chumps (but you know I love you all), I just make neat little sample portfolios of my work so far and hand it in to my instructors. BOOYAH. Expecting a lot of "High Pass" marks. For I work hard. I love going to a real art school. NO I WILL NOT STOP RUBBING IT IN.

October work week is the 18th - 23rd.


So today my daddy let me buy a Dethklok ticket. I said, "Remember the concert I went to last summer with Karen? That band."

It turns out that Raymond, the model for our Life Drawing class, is also a rather pleasant baritone.

I fucking love art school.

I'm sitting on my roof and smoking as I type this. It's AWESOME.

I'm alive. I'm at Starbucks stealing their internets since I don't have mine up yet. They should be up by Thursday.

My house is chill, and I love having my own bathroom. The window in my bedroom comes out, so if I was ever too lazy to go downstairs to the balcony/patio thing, I could always chill on the roof.

Orientation week was epic... I took more than 200 photos (for reference, I SWEAR) at the Royal Ontario Museum.

I've made friends. They're fun and a little crazy.

I'm just sad that Monday is the holiday, because it means I have to wait yet another day for school to start. Seriously. I adore this place. AND it doesn't cost me $23,000USD a year like the Joe Kubert School Of Art would.

I purchases a Metropass (all-purpose transit pass) and it turns out the Student Metropass is only for high school students. Which means I had to fork over an extra eighteen bucks because I do not qualify as a student. Well, fuck you, Toronto Transit Commission, and you better believe I'm claiming this on my tax return.
